Stockpiling 101: What Things To Stockpile?

This question really depends on you and your family.  Stockpiling is determined by the things you use the most.   From hygiene,  cleaning supplies, paper goods, non perishable, frozen foods…you get the picture.  Just make sure to pay attention to expiration dates and rotate your stock.  It’s nothing like having to throw something away because you let it expire.  The whole point is to buy what you think you will use before the expiration date.    When building a stockpile, you also need to have space (Trust me, my husband knows all about it)

Things that I currently have stockpiled are:

Hygiene:

  • Deodorant
  • Shampoo/conditioner
  • Body Wash
  • Bar Soap
  • Lotions
  • Shaving Cream
  • Razors
  • Toothpaste
  • Toothbrush
  • Mouthwash
  • Dental Floss
  • Feminine Products
  • Toilet Paper

Cleaning Supplies:

  • Washing Powder
  • Dishwashing Liquid
  • Paper Towels
  • Candles

Non Perishables

  • Soup
  • Rice Pasta
  • Pasta Sauce
  • Canned Goods
  • Baking Mixes
  • Peanut Butter

Foods:

  • Meats (I buy meats when on sale and Freeze them)
  • Soda
  • Juices
  • Bread
  • Produce (I cut them and store them in ziploc bags-then place in freezer)

 * I apologize for the fuzzy pictures.  My camera would not cooperate.  I hope it doesn’t take away from the idea of stockpiling*

  1. I see you have my favorite toothpaste there. Optic White!!!

  2. Savin It Up says:

I have yet to try it. We are still on the same toothpaste

  3. I have been browsing online more than three hours today, yet I never
found any interesting article like yours. It is pretty worth enough for me.
In my view, if all web owners and bloggers made good content as
you did, the internet will be much more useful than ever before.
