Gortons’ Grilled Shrimp Review: #eatseafoodtwiceaweek (Closed)

Did you know that eating seafood twice a week has health benefits?  I didn’t.  The USDA, American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, the American Diabetes Association and the Journal of the American Medical Association all encourage it. I love seafood and could stand to eat it daily but sometimes its often hard or rather expensive to dish it on the table during dinner time.

Gorton’s creates a line of seafood that is 200 calories or less that can be incorporated into your weekly menus without breaking the bank.

The varieties include:

  • Grilled Fish Fillets
  • Grilled Salmon
  • Grilled Shrimp
  • Grilled Scampi
  • Grilled Tilapia
  • And More!

I was provided a FREE coupon from Gorton’s and decided to try their Grilled Shrimp because you can do so much with it.  You can create Shrimp Scampi, Grilled Shrimp Quiche or my favorite, Grilled Shrimp Tacos.

The process was simple:

  • Place 5 Frozen Shrimp on a microwave plate
  • Microwave on high for 3 minutes
  • Warm a tortilla
  • Add Shrimp and any fixings you like (I added homemade salsa with corn)
  • Squeezed a bit of lime juice
  • Viola! Bon Appetit!!
