Wheatly Takes On @Medieval TimesCA #Review

Medieval Times

Savin’ It Up was provided with complimentary tickets to facilitate this review. All opinions expressed are that of my own. No monetary compensation was received.

What offers unlimited food, family fun, plenty of yelling, knights and of course, horses? Medieval Times of course!

My family and I had the pleasure of attending Medieval Times for the kids Spring Break. We do not have one as close, but was willing to drive an hour and a half, to Burbank, CA. to see the show.

Once you arrive, you are greeted by a grand castle and the King. You are given a color card with a number on it. W were seated in the Red Zone, row 9. This meant that we are we were to “root” for the Red Knight. When you arrive inside the castle, you are greeted with multiple rooms filled with souvenirs-I resisted the urge…..Ok I didn’t! I bought an “adult beverage” and it came in a cute little souvenir cup.

Medieval Times_4

My friend and her family met us there and they were given the Green Knight which made for some friendly competition.

Medieval Times_3

Prior to being seated, they have small pre-shows with the king that the kids enjoy.

Once we are able to get to our seat, we were greeted with a grand stage that will serve as the battle field. All of the on-lookers are seated ringside, color coordinated, to cheer on their knights.

Medieval Times_10

Once seated, the Feast begins. The food kept coming and everyone enjoyed it.

I will say that’s it hard to root on your knight when your tummy is full. Although our knight didn’t win, we still enjoyed ourselves. We look forward o visiting again.. Goodwill’s #7DaysofSpringCleaning campaign: Donation=Jobs

“This post was made possible through the support of Goodwill. All opinions are my own.”

The weather is nice..well a little bit on the windy side. My flowers are blooming-Spring is here. Around my house, Sping=Clean. Since my kids are older, we have less toys and games and more clothes. My on grows like a tree and it seems we are replacing pants every 5 months.

Although we clean all year round, we really focus on the clothes during Spring Cleaning by getting rid of those gently used clothes they can no longer wear. Its a dreaded process but it is done each year. Are you in the process of Spring Cleaning? Here’s a great way to get started. Did you know your used clothing or household goods that you donate to Goodwill, helps create jobs directly in your community? I figure that I am no longer using the item or we have outgrown the clothes, then why not donate.

That’s right: Donate Stuff. Create Jobs. It’s the tagline of Ad Council’s campaign with Goodwill®, which reminds people that their donations support people who are seeking to earn jobs and build careers. To see how the process works, just watch our “How We Do It” PSA.

My sons Taekwondo class rewards them for donating their used items to Goodwill. They earn stars. When they reach 25 stars, they receive an upgrade of their patches.
